Meanie Babies

Have you overdosed on Beanie Babies?

The Idea Factory of New York may have come up with an antidote
-- Meanies. And not just any Meanie, but Infamous Meanies. As in
Mallard (Howard) Stern, ``quack of all media,'' and Quack (Jack)
Nicholson, a takeoff on the star of ``The Shining.''

Like their cute predecessors, the Meanies have rhymes describing
their history. Here's the one for Mallard Stern: ``There is a mallard
we are going to mock/although we all listen to this shock jock/He
shoots off his beak/about sex, gas and freaks/We must admit he
really does rock!''

The Meanies run about $6 each.
